We had a check up on Little William and the hemangioma that is on his left eye on Monday. We saw the Pediatric Opthomologist, and she said that she is “THRILLED!” with the progress of his eye . . . the hemangioma has definitely reduced in size since our last visit with her, in November. The hemangioma is lighter in color, one part of it has completely reduced in size, and the overall width and depth have both reduced in size as well. We are so grateful for this news! We will not return to this doctor for 6 months, which seems like an eternity since we have had spurts of seeing her every 4-6 weeks! How encouraging! We are continuing to pray for Jesus to fully heal William’s eye and for the hemangioma to disappear completely. Plastic surgery may be an option in the future (when he is 3 or 4), but we are hopeful that William will not need surgery at all. Please join us in praying!
{I know that you cannot see the hemangioma in this picture, but I thought it was a sweet one of our little man!}
