Life as we know it: Sharing, or NOT.

These boys are working on rapid-fire communication, but one concept that we are wrestling with these days is the concept of sharing . . . or, “not stealing” (William!) . . . or, “taking turns.”  It is hard to learn to share and hard to learn what sharing means, and it is hard for us to repeat ourselves all day long without seeing much progress.  You can pray for us all as we enter into this fun and challenging new territory!

We do have two of these Crazy Coupes (as Hatch calls them), thank you Nonna and Grandpa!  However, the car seems to be on the popular list all of the time . . . and, it seems to be used for sitting and reading or sitting and sipping some water rather than riding . . .

These pictures were taken last week.  Hudson was in the car having a grand ole time, and William decided that he HAD TO join in the fun:

Both boys began to drop toys out of the side of the car for a bit of entertainment . . .

. . . but, William felt like he was having trouble seeing all of the action (please take note of Hudson’s face!)

Life as we know it: today!

Hold onto your hats, people.  It was a windy day, and our camera battery was charged and ready to go!

We started our morning having received a big ole box of diapers (hoorah!) and, of course, the boys just LOVED their fun times in the box . . . but, they were too busy to smile!  (this was the smaller of the two boxes we received!  we love UPS!)

After a romp in the box, the boys discovered these in the pantry.  Last Friday was Judah’s birthday and although we neglected to wear these to his bday dinner . . . and even though Judah was not present with us today {he was at school!  Sidenote:  William and I talk about how Judah goes to school probably 17 times each day when he repeatedly calls out for his uncle!}, celebrate we did!  We love you Uncle J!

I’m not sure what this stance means, but it makes me laugh!

William’s hat slid back and he could not find it.  It was hysterical watching him try to figure out where it went!

After our pretend party {are you glad that I am giving you a play-by-play of our day?}, Hudson moved onto perfecting his sorting skills.  And, sort he does.  This boy LOVES to sort.

And, days like today is how your clean laundry ends up inside of the drum on your living room floor.  Thank you, Hudson!

In the afternoon, we put on our sweaters, and headed out to the cold, windy outdoors!

We’re still working on teaching this one not to eat all of his yard treasures . . .  

This one decided that he had had enough of the wind, so he called for me to “ope-E” the door!

Weekend wonderings . . .

Well, my last post came with a prayer request for William who continued throwing up all Wednesday night . . . the stomach bug has officially entered our home.  I have zero pictures from this weekend, because I got the bug yesterday afternoon.  It has been brutal!  Please pray that Hudson and Hatch do not get it and that we can stay healthy!

I realized that I never posted our pictures from last weekend, so here we go!  The weather was so nice, so the boys and Hatch and I started our Saturday off with a long walk.  Prior to our walk, we had to do some minor repairs to the stroller’s tires.  Of course, the boys were at their father’s side for putting more air in the tires!

William was eager to lend a hand . . .

But, Hudson was a little more apprehensive . . .

In the afternoon, we headed to the park to play and to show off our favorite toys to Daddy!
