(s)NO(w)!!

Well, who knew that Richmond, Virginia would see two big snow storms in one winter? We had fun playing in the snow for a few minutes before their afternoon nap. In case you were wondering, William will not say "snow." Only "no" . . . over and over, again! Enjoy the winter wonderland!

We didn't have any winter wear, so we got creative with our rubber-soled shoes and our plastic bags!
My new kicks, courtesy of Aunt Katie!
All ready for snow!
Outside!
I LOVE this one!

whoops!our little snow man!So, it seems that hornets do not like the snow . . . Family Self-(snow)-Portrait
Then we headed to a snowed-in dinner at our neighbors'! So fun! The boys had fun playing with some new (pink) toys! (I've told you that our neighbors are awesome, right? They are THE best!)

GREEN!

I am Green*.

(And, not because I am sick.)

I am GREEN with ENVY that Sugie is with my baby nephew Charlie, and I am not! (We did beg Sugie to let us come with her, but she kindly told us "no, thank you!")

We love you and miss you, Charlie!
Isn't he SO BEAUTIFUL?
(Katie took these pics with her cell, too! Impressive!)
And, not to be ugly, but this is how we feel about not being with Charlie:
Well, folks, that about sums it up: We miss Charlie!
So, with a finger in your nose, have a wonderful weekend!

{*green=green is the one color that the boys REFUSE to repeat. Red, yes! Blue, of course! Yellow, all of the time! Green . . . absolutely not!}

We've been better . . .

We Reppards have been fighting the funk around here. The stomach funk, some throat funk, and some fever funk . . . it has not been fun at all. We think (and hope and pray) that we are turning the corner . . . and that we are firmly on the road to recovery. We have not left the house except for visiting doctors in quite a while, so we have high hopes for our post-sick days!

Here are a few pictures of our puny selves:

{note: my puny self did not shower from Friday until Tuesday, so there will be ZERO pictures of me. Disgusting, I know. . . }

First, I had the funk.

Then, Hudson.
Then, we were puny.

Then, I got it again.

Then, William got it.
We're still recovering . . . {and praying that Hatch does NOT get it!}

That said, an IMPORTANT update on life here today {life as we know it . . . this is a real time update, folks!}

1. Hudson did not crawl today. Walking Only. OH MY!

2. Hudson threw the sofa pillows onto the den floor, and began to throw himself on them. I am suddenly very aware that I have boys in my house!

3. William has learned the word "no," and has used it against me at least three times today. He also uses it against his brother "no, no, no." {His brother, in response, smiles and continues his inappropriate action!} When I pulled out the diapers to change the boys after lunch, William said "No" and promptly left the room!

4. When he dances, William pulls out a mean fist pump. {We will do our best to catch this sweet move on film!}

One thing that has been VERY encouraging is that we have been quite entertained with our many toys during our many, many days inside of our humble home! Thanks to Auntie Courtney for our fun tunnel! These boys are really into books . . . I think this picture is so funny. Please notice a) the chins, b) the cheeks, and c) the post-nap hair! We were able to sneak outside for a good walk and some AIR this weekend . . . Some days we get dressed before we play, somedays we don't! Join us in praying for these boys to SLEEP at night and for Jesus to heal their little bodies! Here's to healthy days ahead!

Getaway!

Courtesy of the very generous Nonna and Grandpa, Hatch and I were able to spend a weekend away at the beginning of the month. We went to Colorado for a friend's wedding, and we had a lovely time! It was snowy and beautiful, and Hatch and I really enjoyed being together.

Here is the groom walking out to the bride for the photoshoot . . . I CANNOT wait to see the professional photos from this one! Everything was just gorgeous!

yours truly! (our noses were pink because we were a teensy bit frozen!)And, while we were away, the babes did play! They loved their time with Nonna and Grandpa! (thank you for taking these great pictures, Nonna and Gpa!) Thank you, too, for caring for our boys so we could go away for the weekend! What a wonderful treat!
I am most impressed with this one--two grinning boys!

And, much to our surprise (and my maternal shock and horror that I was not there in person), we came home to this:
