In addition to two hour naps for the mama, we had some fun activities to do as a family! We took Daddy to the Botanical Garden so he could see the fun in action . . . a massive sand box, a frog that spouts out water, rocks, chalk, picnic tables . . . does it get any better?
This was one of our first official family picnics! Hudson was a little too engrossed in the food to pause for a picture . . .

During naptime, Daddy and Bumpa worked on the deck project . . . here is the latest! Notice the fancy bench that Bumpa is sitting on . . . how fun!
Watching Daddy work is one of our VERY favorite things! (“tick tocks” are a close second!)
Helping Daddy collect things in his bucket! When the boys woke from their nap, they saw Daddy with his shovel (he was relocating dirt) and they started screaming “Daddy! Sandbox! Daddy! Sandbox!” We wanted to be sure that Daddy knows we are very impressed by his dirt (aka: “sandbox!”)
