Sweet Sister

A dear friend of ours (and neighbor) is a photographer and had Anna and me over for some pictures on Monday.  I love pictures, and I really wanted some of Anna near her first birthday . . . sort-of as a bday treat for her . . . but really more of a treat for me!  Jess just put a few of the pictures up on her blog, and I just love how Anna looks!  Her eyes are so blue, and she is just so sweet!  I am really excited to have such wonderful photos to mark her fast-approaching 1st Birthday!  Thank you, thank you, Jess!  Here is the link to Jess’ blog for your viewing pleasure (it’s the Oct 5 post)!

And, a few more from Life as We Know It . . . Sister has found the big kitchen, too, and she is into everything!  (She is wearing this hilariously adorable Noah’s ark outfit that was a hand-me-down—there is an actual 3-D noah and animals sewn to it!  ha!  I had to change her into this after she got too-close-for-comfort to the boys’ “tiny potty” this afternoon.  Gross, I know, but this is my life.)

And, my little love really is a cuddle bug.  I had noticed that her bumper pad was all weird and smooshed, and when I went to wake her from her nap the other day, I realized why!  Sister crams herself into the corners to cuddle up to it!  She loves a snuggle, and I adore that about her!

While the boys and I made muffins to go with our dinner the other night, we found sister doing this . . . she wasn’t happy, but she wasn’t doing anything about it either . . . I think she may have been enjoying the view (her brothers had been standing on the stools in front of her)!  Since her mother was known for climbing into cabinets, I guess it’s only appropriate for her to lay on the floor under the dining room table!

And, in case you were wondering, our wonderful Auntie Ali (who, as William says, is “The one who is on the airplane”) is keeping some hip NYC style in our lives with the boys’ new yellow tiny toms . . . how cute are they?

Now if only someone would buy me some cute yellow toms (wedges, please!) we could be a nice little corduroy-tom-wearing family!
