Each year, our sweet Nana takes the rowdy Murphy crew to Lake Anna. We love it there and we have so much fun altogether! The boys had a blast, despite the heat! We have LOTS of pictures of our trip, so take a seat, enjoy, and stay tuned for more!
Bumpa’s Boat was the #1 hit at Lake Anna!
Hudson and William have both learned to honk the horn on the boat and to scream “AHHH” when going under a bridge. It is hilarious! Be sure to ask William and Hudson about it when you see them!
It should be noted that William’s first quasi-sentence was said last week. The conversation went something like this:
Bumpa: William, come snuggle with me!
William: No ‘nuggle, Bumpa . . . BOAT!!!!
{Please notice the bridge off in the distance . . . we road around in circles as to maximize our “Beep Beep, AHHH!!” time under the bridge!}
The boys’ second favorite thing at Lake Anna was all of the FISH! {This may be one of my favorite pictures of all time!}
And, yes, they grabbed them with their bare hands!
We also enjoyed watching other people catch fish, like Uncle Judah!
hmmm, not too sure about this . . .
I think I’ll touch it!
Cousin Lukie caught some good ones, too!
The dock had a screened porch, so we had lots of fun with the baby pool on the porch!
Much to my dismay, Hudson drank lots of pool water
Mr. Precious ate some fish,
{when he wasn’t snoozing!}
I got to ‘nuggle baby Charlie (because he is too young to tell me “no ‘nuggle!”)
And, Uncle David, who has fondly been renamed “Uncle Bubbles” (thank you, William), taught the boys to have fun with the hose!
At this point in time, I would like to run a caption contest . . . If you are interested, go to our blog and at the bottom of this post, click on the blue “comment” link. The best comment winner will receive something fun, from Hudson, or Chris Farley, or whoever he is . . .
More to come . . .
