Diez Meses!

I find myself a little behind the power curve as I post the boys' 10 month pictures (technically speaking, they turned 11 mos yesterday! Oops!) I wanted to go ahead and put these up to show the BIG changes that have happened in the last month! As you may remember, most of our "monthly" shots involve the boys laying or sitting calmly on the bed next to one another. This is no longer the case! Let the chase begin! (Also, as a side note, someone asked me why I keep putting them in those weird hats--the hats they are wearing are what they had on when the nurses brought them to us after being born. Precious! Watch the hats shrink as our boys grow!)

Hudson

William

These last two are random ones that I thought were fun . . . we have turned our downstairs pack-n-play into a ball pit, which Hudson loves (most of the time)

And, I thought this was a hilarious picture of William!

QUACK!

We have two very cute and chubby ducks in our home! They are so much fun, and they love to splash in the bath (and attempt to eat all of their bath toys!) We are practicing animal noises, and so far, they can tell us that the sheep says "Ba. Ba. Ba." I have a feeling that quacking is a ways off! Enjoy the ducks!

William

This duck (william) does not like things on his head. Winter hats should be VERY interesting!
Peek-a-boo Hudson!

I love this one! What a sweet face!

happy birthday, daddy!

(Hudson and William did an excellent job of tracing their hands for Hatch's bday card!)
Hatch's 29th(!!) birthday was two Saturdays ago, and we had a great time celebrating him! We started the day in bed with some diaper hats, shakers and a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday! Then we headed to lunch together, the Children's Museum of Richmond (which was a big hit all around), and then Sugie and Bumpa and Uncle Judah came over to babysit so we could go to dinner with our friends. We had a great time! Here are some pictures!

Hudson was not too keen on the diaper hats, but Will was having a great time! (Can you tell that William loves his shakers??)

shake, shake

This is a picture of the "muffin cake" that I made for Hatch. These muffins were out of a box, yet I somehow managed to mess them up . . . they tasted HORRIBLE! We had some real dessert with dinner to make up for it!
And, some museum favorites . . .

Our little farmers did some "planting" (and "eating")
And, riding the tractor was a big hit! (William)

Mommy's Little Helpers

You may not know this about us, but we are busy . . . VERY BUSY. (Hence the shortage of pictures and lack of posts from this month . . . instead of photographing my two little ones calmly, sweetly, sitting on our bed, I now chase them around our house . . . and, getting both boys in the same picture is even more challenging!) Here are several pictures from the past few weeks of the babies helping us around the house . . . Enjoy!

This first picture is one of my favorites . . . and, any Murphy can tell you that I spent much of my time as a child crawling into the pantry at my Nana's house! (If I find that picture, I will scan it and post it! Maybe Nana has it??)

Hudson, the master Tupperware organizer

Why fold laundry when you can dump it onto the floor?

Lately, William has been really into helping Hudson with things . . .
and, he is quite proud!

It takes a village to change a diaper around here!

The babies have done a great job of volunteering to help us with basic household chores.

William takes out the mail each day . . .

And, Hudson pulls the really tasty foods out of the fridge . . .

The boys have taken on the task of recycling together . . .

Thankfully, everyone loves Pottery Barn around here!

Also recyclable? Our favorite toy! This small paper bag!

The pre-bath inspection of the tub (and its toys!)

And, checking out daddy's progress on painting the porch floor . . . (good work, daddy, good work!)

We went to lunch with friends last week, and Harper helped feed the boys . . . SO CUTE!

And, lastly, if you wonder what my life looks like when I am not chasing babies--this is it:
William climbing my leg (this baby lives at my feet), and Hudson on my hip (you can just see his tiny toes in this picture). I love it!
