Mama’s Fishies

{note . . . I thought I had published this on Thursday, but just got home from a romantic weekend with my love to find that it had not published—so sorry!}

Like our friends, William and Hudson have a new favorite place to sit and read and lazily gaze out the window!

Isn’t my fishy so cute?

IMG_1321

The boys have made a habit of looking out the window into the backyard, because Daddy-the-builder and Bumpa-the-builder have been hard at work! Here is the progress from this past weekend! {I would have taken a picture of them standing on the stairs, looking out the window, and banging their tool toys on the glass, but I was afraid someone was going to fall! Safety first, you know!}

IMG_5177

Sometimes, though, we have another reason to look out the window!

WHERE did he go? IMG_1335

This may be one of my new favorites . . .

Mama’s sweet fishy

IMG_1346

This boy is so sweet . . . I asked him to kiss me the other night, and after he did, he said “More!” and gave me another kiss! He kissed his daddy and me, saying “More!” after each kiss about five or six times, and then he kissed me and said “WUV YOU!” I thought I was going to melt! Oh, how I love him!

IMG_1347

He also likes to say “More!” after we pray . . . so, this week he has been praying with us, saying “Thank You, Jesus . . . for Mama, . . . for Dada {big Grin!} . . . for WOO {will} . . . and for baby {big grin!} . . . AMEN!! “Woo” is also a big fan of saying “Amen” and he often does it throughout our prayers! Too cute!IMG_1348

I had to tempt the boys with their water cups and thoughts of running outside to get them away from the window . . .

IMG_1355

They found a perfect spot to store their cups, which I thought was hilarious! IMG_1359 They LOVE playing in the yard! IMG_1363

“Watering the plants” {aka: pouring water wherever, is always a huge hit!} IMG_1366

So, it seems that fishies really like water . . . IMG_1368

Check out the tip-toes!

This fun toy is also the neighbors—good thing they like us!

Memorial Day Weekend: Pop Pop, the Rivah, and a deck update!

Two Saturdays ago, we had an impromptu visit from Pop Pop! We were able to have dinner together and he joined us for our evening baby wrangling ritual (aka: putting on pjs!). The boys LOVED playing with their Pop Pop, and Sunday morning, William woke up asking for him! Too cute!

The Four Reppard boys! (babies in their new jammies from Nonna—thank you!) IMG_5099

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++On Sunday, we headed to Aunt Beth and Uncle Richard’s River House! We had SO much fun!

Hatch calls these outfits the boys “resort wear” {thank you, Aunt Katie!} . . . ha ha ha . . . they had done some playing in the pool and taken naps, so it was snack time!IMG_5106 IMG_5111

I like to call this the snack train! IMG_5113 IMG_5114

While we loved looking at the river, the main attraction this year was the “TRUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!” The boys could not stay away!

The driver of this vehicle is quite focused . . . IMG_1290

And, he is also quite determined . . . IMG_5121

. . . So, we took a family ride on the “truck!” IMG_5122

I feel certain that Hudson would have smiled here, had he not just crammed an entire cracker into his mouth! IMG_5132

The youngest boys (minus Charlie--who, by the way, MOVES TO RICHMOND ON THURSDAY!!!), on the Siddons side of the fam: William, Judah, Hudson, Jack, and Shawn Thomas! Now, imagine a little lady thrown in that mix!?!

And, lastly, on Monday, our good friend, Kyle, helped Daddy and Bumpa (and Jonathan) begin work on the deck! Way to go, guys! So exciting! Our littlest builders watched with anticipation from the window!IMG_5154

Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh . . .

WE’RE HAVING A GIRL!

That’s right!  We are thrilled to share that we are being blessed with another little bundle of love!  We had our big doctor’s visit today to find out that the baby is growing well and moving around like crazy.  We are so grateful to Jesus for the ways that He is providing for us and our little one!  We saw our little sweet pea yawn and wiggle . . . and we were able to see all of the amazing things that the ultrasound shows . . . tiny fingers and toes, four chambers to the heart, two kidneys, and a sweet little face.

When it was time to find out the gender, Hatch and I both looked at the ultra sound screen and were able to guess that she was a girl . . . we were right!  How fun!  Hudson and William (who, much to  my dismay, turned 18 months old yesterday!) will be such wonderful big brothers!  William has even been practicing saying “girl, girl, girl!” and, they point to their belly or mine when we ask where the baby is . . . too cute!  We are so thankful for the great, healthy report about our newest little bean!

This picture was taken when I was 14 weeks (I am 19 now—I promise to update more frequently!)

And, for comparison’s sake, this was me at 14 weeks with Hudson and William!  (reminder:  I was still in the throes of MAJOR morning sickness at this point!)

Please continue to pray for the health of our littlest one (and for her big brothers, too)!  :)

Strawberry Saturday!

We had a great day as a family on Saturday . . . we hit the tail end of the picking, but we were still able to pick a few tasty strawberries!  The boys had a great time . . . William mainly smooshed his berries, but Hudson did a great job of picking and putting them in the box.  Both boys have been screaming “Berries!  Berries” at each meal this week (Hudson asked me for some just this morning!)—they love them, and these fresh berries are SO tasty!

IMG_5073

Each morning last week, William would wake up and say “Dada?”  I would say “Dada is at work” and he would say “Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, Dada.”  So, Saturday was super-fun since it started off a long weekend with Dada around!
