this week has been a doozie, to say the least . . . it has been a combination of stressful and difficult things involving my kids (mainly two blonde adorable little monsters who are 3 years old and living under my roof) and what feels like my inability to parent them! we read a book about bert and ernie today, and at the end of the book, they reconciled and bert apologized to ernie for screaming at him . . . and, hudson, bless his heart, said “that’s like what happens at our house!” so true, so true. forgiveness is a wonderful thing all across the board. these boys and their parents are learning to apologize more now than ever before . . . (and, yes, you can pray that all of the yelling in this house would cease!)
and, I am thinking that having our house on the market may just be the end of me! whoo! we are ready to move along . . . so, if you do happen to know someone looking for a cute casita in the northside, do let me know! in the meantime, I’ll let this little froggie do our advertising for us!
despite a tough morning this morning, heading outside and seeing this little bug was quite a treat!
she’s not quite walking down stairs yet . . . but, she is certainly thinking about it!
after our little bible study today (and sidenote: instead of screaming and crying when I dropped her in the nursery, anna said “bye bye mommy” to me! I wanted to shout from the rooftops! Success!) we had a great playtime outside. it was so fun and a major highlight of our day!
Sister was not sure of what to do at first . . . but she was certain that she was going to participate.
. . . and, it didn’t take long before she figured it out!
they were soaked when they got back in the car, and william had captured a worm from the bottom of the puddle too (dead and gross, but he was thrilled) . . . but it was so much fun!
we ended up having two showings at the house today, so the babes napped at Sugie’s so I could clean and prep the casa . . . when we got home to pick them up, it was clear that Uncle Judah was up to his old tricks again!
Cheese-er!
Precious little loves!
And, my big ole boys!
we are all VERY thankful that tomorrow is FRIDAY!
Nighty night from our “fwogs” to yours!
