Beach Babes (aka the longest blog post in the history of time)

The babies have just spent their first of (hopefully!) many weeks at the beach! We went to Emerald Isle, NC with the Siddons clan, and we had a wonderful time! (We missed you, cousin Timmy!) Hudson and Will both enjoyed the sand and the ocean; although, Will was not a big fan of the waves. We really enjoyed our time together with family, as a family!

This is a little shoot of the boys FIRST encounter with the beach!

And, about 3 seconds later, a sad William and an excited Hudson! Oh, how our babes are different!

The waves meant that William definitely had to have a much-needed snuggle time with his pops

. . . while Hudsey continued enjoying himself!

We took a few walks on the beach as a family, which were fun but HOT


Although we did take the boys to the beach for several hours each afternoon, we also spent some time on the shaded porch in the baby pool . . . which, they love!

We were able to visit with some family at the beach, and we even played "peep eye" with Great Great Aunt Monny!

Before leaving, we took our little family of four to the aquarium. We had a great time! The boys LOVED seeing the fish, the jelly fish, and the turtles!

Hudson tried to eat the eye off the turtle while William laughed with glee that we were at the aquarium!

It only took us 7 days to get the hang of life at the beach . . . I'm sure that next year will be a breeze with two 20 month olds! AHH!
