Update . . . fast and furious . . .

Due to the many prayers and antibiotics, I think we are the tail end of our colds!  Anna is still congested and I am not fully better either, but we are pushing through.  Life with three little ones is very full . . . and wild . . . and we are quite tired!  Today was one of my first days without around the clock help (Hatch did get the boys up and into their chairs for breakfast and I did thrust Anna and a bottle on my friend who brought us dinner), but all in all, it went well.  We are all alive so that is great!  ha ha!

Here is the latest . . . and many of these are from the last two weeks . . . oops!  There haven’t been many (or . . . ANY) pictures from our sick days, so savor these!

There’s lots of Helpin’ going on around here!  These boys are GREAT Big Brothers, and they really adore their sis.  Tonight, at dinner, William said “Ohh!  Anna!  Pretty!  Pretty, Anna!”  :)IMG_3532Big brother keeping a watchful eye . . .IMG_3575IMG_3583

So proud!

We tried to get a sweet little picture of Miss Anna during her first bath, but she didn’t love it . . .  IMG_3538

She did calm down for a bit though . . . IMG_3540 IMG_3548

But, she remembered where she was and decided she still didn’t love it . . .  {Have I mentioned that when this child was born, they said in the delivery room “Wow.  She is loud.”  Honestly, she is in good company, but this girl has no low volume . . . you hear her loud and clear!}IMG_3553 IMG_3564

Last week, Anna was back up to her birth weight plus a tad, so we got the green light to “let her sleep at night.”  By let her sleep, we mean that we do not have to wake her or ourselves every 3 hours (which is GLORIOUS) . . . so, if she wants to go a whole 4 or 4.5 hours, she can.  Last night, she slept from 11ish to 5ish, which was amazing, but I do not have my hopes up that it will happen again tonight.  We shall see! IMG_3571

This love adores her Daddy—she stares and stares at him!IMG_3572 Since we have been home a lot, the boys and I have been doing some projects.  We made our sand and water table into a “rice table” the first week Anna and I were home.  It has been really fun to make the colored rice and “dig rice,” of course!IMG_3591

Currently, 85% of this rice is on the floor of our porch . . . better there than inside my house, right?  IMG_3594

Peeper does not dig rice yet, but I did strap her to me for some outside fun today! IMG_3995

The week before last, we had a great visit from Aunt Courtney!  We went to play at the park, and the boys LOVED it!

Look at my big boy!  (I was on the other side of the see saw!  ha ha!)

Daddy and his excited velcro baby.  William will not leave Hatch’s side when he is around! IMG_6789 IMG_6792

The boys insisted on going up the ladder . . .  IMG_6793

to go down this . . . Hudson went down—twice—William declined.  :)

IMG_6794

Then, they heard the choo choo and it was very fun to see it rolling along!IMG_6796Little Miss had a great morning at the park, too!IMG_6801

More to come . . . one day . . . :)

overheard . . .

first things first:  we are sick.  hudson and will have the funk (nasty noses, nasty eyes, coughs, etc.), hatch and i are getting something, and anna is congested.  please pray for Jesus to heal us and to PROTECT anna from getting what the boys have!

I MUST go to bed, but I have given myself 3 minutes to write this post so that I don’t forget . . .   (You’ll have to wait for pictures!)

The following things have been overheard in our house recently:

“Please move your saw.  It is too close to Anna’s head.”

“I sorry, Anna.  I kick you.  I sorry.  I sorry, Anna.  I kick you.  I kick you.  I sorry!”

“You just threw a block at Anna’s head.  Please go and tell her you are sorry.”

“More Anna, Mommy!  More peek Anna!  More see Anna!”

“MORE TICKLE BUTTON!”  {translation:  more belly button!}

“Murphy is not going to eat your chair.  I promise.  Please stop crying.”

“Anna sad.  I help her.  Anna paci {paci being shoved into the face of a sleeping baby} . . . she need dis.”

“What dat Mommy?  Poopy on sofa?  ohh, pooopy!  What dat?  What Mommy doin?  What Anna doin?”  {yes, anna pooped on the sofa about 3 minutes before we were supposed to be leaving for church!}

“Thank you Jesus, baby Anna.”

Okay, here’s one picture to hold you over . . .

And to all . . . a good night.  :)

moo, Moo, MOO!

If you asked our boys what they were going to dress up as this year, William would yell “HALLOWEEN COW!”  Both boys had their “Moo”s down pat, and they are perfecting the nose wiggle of baby bunny Anna (their nose wiggle looks more like them doing a rapid series of weird blinks—it is hilarious!)

I tried my best to get some pictures of the Halloween Cows before we left the house . . . IMG_3810 IMG_3812

May I just say that I am pretty sure my babies turned into little boys while we were at the hospital . . . they seem so big to me! IMG_3814

Someone asked this cow his name the other day, and he said “Anna’s Brother.”  So cute!  He was a little hesitant to wear his cow hat . . .  IMG_3816

. . . but he eventually obliged . . .  IMG_3819

We tried to convince the cows to give each other some lovies and hugs, but head-butts seem to be more popular around here!  {We’re beginning to wonder if Hudson knows what a hug is?!  He tends to lean in his head instead . . . he he he!}IMG_3821 IMG_3822 IMG_3824 IMG_3825

the cows with farmer daddy (we couldn’t find his hat . . . whoops!) IMG_3828

Isn’t our bunny so adorable? IMG_3830

Mr. Moo checking in on Miss Anna IMG_3832

We headed outside for some pun-kin fun! IMG_3842

my sweet boy! IMG_3850

my precious little moo! IMG_3859

William is Hatch’s #1 fan . . . he adores his daddy! IMG_3861

The cows on the move . . . IMG_3867

Before hopping into the car, this cow found some of his very favorite things:  STICKS! IMG_3879 IMG_3882

Arriving at Sugie’s house!  What is that big thing? IMG_3886

Daddy brings up the rear!IMG_3890

The cows hopped in the wagon and met up with Mr. P, dressed as a lion! IMG_3897

Check out the scarecrow that pulled our wagon . . . IMG_3912

We headed down Sugie’s street with flashlights and lanterns in hand!  The boys had a blast! IMG_3922

. . . and then, Hudson’s crackers got stuck in the bottom of the package . . . and he was very, very sad.  Fortunately, Daddy came to his rescue! IMG_3926

Mr. Precious came to check out the action! IMG_3935

Sweet cousins! IMG_3944

I love this one! IMG_3964

And, we rounded out the night by knocking on Bumpa’s door! IMG_3976

Sugie had made lots of toddler-friendly treats!  William was thrilled to grab an an-mal cracker! IMG_3979

Our little farm . . .  IMG_3983

The 2010 tiny crew!  So sweet!  {Thinking about next year makes me tired!}  Ni Night!
