Lake Nana, Part 3 . . . and after . . .

I somehow missed these pictures of my little men when I posted about their morning walks at the lake with Bumpa . . . they were too sweet not to post!  More recent pics coming soon (FYI . . . after Hudson’s third rash and three days of fever, we realized that he has roseola and is cutting his 2 yr molars—poor baby!  I hope we will all feel better this week . . . William has yet to show signs of it . . . )

When we got home from the lake, the boys had a boys day with Uncle J, Unkie Brett, and their favorite Cousin Charlie!  How cute are the three little puppies?

The boys were able to squeeze in some quality time with their Nana as well . . . Nana was sitting on the glider, and H crawled up right beside her without any prompting!

They were soon joined by brother . . .

We left the pool with some very tired sharks!

And, before we knew it, we were having another going away party for more sweet friends . . . so sad . . .

24 weeks!

After being hounded by some of my UVA roomies to send an updated photo, I have put aside the laundry and am ignoring the three exploding suitcases in my bedroom and my poor fever-laden Hudson is resting, so here you go!  Baby Sister and I have made it 24 weeks!  Hoorah!  The month of vacationing in June and my eating all that I see has made her grow nice and big and we had a great visit to the doctor last week and heard her loud, rapid heartbeat!  As I write this, she is literally doing flips in my stomach.  It is WILD!

And, because we all know that I continue to be amazed by the difference of carrying one baby versus two . . . here I am with the boys at 24 weeks (note:  they had me eating 3000+ calories per day . . . for some reason, they have not mentioned that dieting plan to me this go-round!  ha ha!)

Lake Nana, Part 2

Brace yourselves for the fun . . . and a TON of pictures.  All of these were taken through the lens of my very talented cousin, Cameron!  Thank you, Cam!  {Note:  having a budding photographer on vacation with you is always a WONDERFUL thing!!}

It didn’t take us long to realize that the combination of Virginia heat and not napping (or sleeping at all, really), can make babies a little crazy!

After we got back on track (sort of) with sleeping, we continued to enjoy all of the things that we LOVE about Lake Anna!  While this is unusual, the boys were very fond of the rare wicker flamingo, now called “MINGO!!” in the house:

They also really enjoyed their time with Bumpa—on the dock, on walks, and on the boat . . . and they wanted to be with him all of the time!

Several mornings, Bumpa and the boys went on walks in the wagon, and they always came home with beautiful flowers for their mama!

But, the boat may have been the biggest hit of all!

I would rather not talk about how this lovely animal is wading in the lake . . .

And, they very much enjoyed bouncing like monkeys on Nana’s bed!  {You see, Nana is very nice to welcome monkeys into her room at all!}

Nana has had LOTS of experience with monkeys (missing from this picture:  Cousin Quint, Cousin Keith, Uncle Christopher, and the Reppard 4)

For Father’s Day, the dads always get amazingly wonderful gift bags full of treats courtesy of Aunt Kellie and Cousin Cameron . . . this year, their gifts turned them all into thugs . . . hmmm . . . it was scary and funny at all once!

And, on that note, I will leave you with a little more cuteness to brighten your day!
