So, the week before last, we had some good springtime heat . . . combined with a lack of napping . . . so, we brought out the ole hose and sprinkler! The boys had never run through the sprinkler, so it was quite exciting!

Sister was hot, one-shoed, covered in a granola bar, and a little unsure of what we were encouraging her to do!

checking out the scene . . . I adore her swim diaper!

We invited our friends to come play, and Booker shared in Anna’s wonder and amazement . . .

then, sister got bold . . . I. LOVE. THIS.

sweetness!

. . . and doubt . . .

‘ucy agreed to run through with the boys and teach them the ways of summer fun . . .

there is something about this picture that is just priceless to me . . .

fun (and snacks) were had by all of these cute people!

we headed into the weekend with some celebrating of aunt katie and her baby . . . (as a little sidenote, may I just say that courtesy of her Aunt Katie, Anna now lifts her shirt and rubs her belly IN PUBLIC and screams “BABY!” while pointing at her tummy. Thank you, Aunt Katie, for this special experience!)

and, we headed into this week with some London Bridges playtime with Sugie . . . the best part of this was that they were ALL laughing hysterically! It was so funny!

We had a great afternoon stroll with Daddy . . . someone may have been a tad excited!

and, well, yes. this is random, but have I mentioned lately how much I adore my husband? he is so sweet to me and absolutely cherished by our little ones (the feeling is quite mutual). this man makes me laugh and LAUGH, and I love that . . . and him. No wonder I get distracted when grocery shopping . . .

And, some babes in a basket—my favorite!

I’ll end this post with the first edition of what I’ll call SAY WHAT? . . . things that I cannot believe are actually coming out of my mouth, such as:
William, get out of the dryer.
Hudson, you may not put glue all over the furniture and floor.
Anna, finger out of your nose, please. Finger out of Daddy’s beer.
We do not talk about private parts.
Get out from under the bed.
Do not pull the curtains down.
Stop peeling paint off the wall.
Did you write on this wall, AGAIN?
You may ask me one more question, and then I AM LEAVING.
Stop talking about bottoms, please.
Please get out of my closet.
NO HANDS IN THE POTTY. DO NOT TOUCH THE POTTY!
Do not stand inside of the fridge.
Get out of the pantry.
Do not climb inside of the fridge.
Do not sit on the dishwasher.
Never put anything up your nose ever again.
You may NEVER touch anyone’s eyeballs. (to this, william said: But, I just wanted to pull out her eye!) NO TOUCHING EYES!
Please do not touch mommy’s makeup. STOP PUTTING MASCARA ON THE WALL!
Before you jump off the sofa, you have to be sure there is no one near you.
AGAIN: stop talking about bottoms, please!
Stop sawing through the screen on the door!
Hudson, please do not throw things at Mommy’s head. Ever. Especially while I am driving.
No hammering the air conditioning unit.
Don’t let your face touch the potty.
No sitting on the bathroom floor.
Do not touch the bathroom floor. EVERYTHING in the bathroom is dirty.
What did I tell you about putting boogers on the wall?
Leave the food in the fridge, please.
and, everyone’s favorite: BECAUSE I ASKED YOU TO . . .

And, on that note, may you have a weekend without a chubby little finger in your nose or in your beer . . . enjoy!
