Little Miss has found her hands. And, OH they are SO SWEET! She seems to think they are made of the sweetest of sugars {although I much prefer the paci!} She also giggles every time we change her clothes {which is rather frequent because she has a tiny drooling habit}, and she even giggles in her sleep! Ah! I love it! She is such a sweet baby! Today, William addressed her as “Baby, Baby!” “Baby Anna” “Anna Kathryn" and “Anna Kaffff” all in the course of an hour. This little love is going to have quite a selection of names!
The boys are increasingly hilarious and ever so busy! They are quite 2 these days and have been showing off their determination and willfulness this past week! Everything is an adventure around here!
We may still be learning what “gentle” means . . .
{A note about the paci: He chewed through his last one, and I refuse to buy more, so he is using one of his from when he was a baby. Every single day we talk about giving our pacis to baby Booker across the street. I think I may be more attached to peaceful sleep than they are to pacis, so I don’t see this change happening anytime soon . . . }
Every night before bed, we sing and snuggle our little loves. Usually I get to snuggle in the rocker because I have Little Bug with me, too. They love to sing “Holy Holy Holy” which sounds like “O-D, O-D, O-D,” “All Creatures of our God and King,” and a song we made up about rocking at night. They’ve also joined forces and insist on having their blankies cover their toes “BLANKIE ON TOES, MOMMY!,” despite the fact they wear footie pajamas . . . and, they insist on having their random animals “tucked in” to their blankie as well. Hudson is especially fond of a squirrel-like thing that Nana gave him which he now calls “Moxy.” They are hilarious, and so precious!
And, most mornings, I wake to Hudson yelling at William as part of an effort to awaken his playmate: “Wake UP WEE-YUM! WEEEEEEEE-YUM! WAKE UPPPPPPPPPPPP!” William often rotates singing the “CDCs” (ABCs), “Happy Birthday,” and “Twinkle, Twinkle” in the morning. And, Little Bug, wakes up each morning with a big ole grin . . . a trait that she did not pick up from either of her parents! Although, seeing her grin makes for a great start to any wild day ahead!
More to come . . . as always . . .
