Happy Anna!

Our sweet little lovebug was born on Monday, October 18 at 7:26am!  We are THRILLED to welcome Anna Kathryn Reppard to our family.  She is an absolute joy to us all!   We all need some rest, but we wanted to send out a few more pictures!  (Also, please pray for Anna as she has some jaundice issues and is spending her days in the “tanning bed” and away from her mama.  We are hoping and praying she’ll be able to head home with us in a day or two!)

Daddy and his love . . . nothing beats seeing my love holding his little girl.  Oh, my heart!

When she was born, the doctors kept saying “look at that face!  look at her face!  how cute!”  I thought this was just hysterical!

Snuggling with her namesake, Aunt Katie (Kathryn!) . . . what a wonderful, loving, and compassionate (not to mention, FUN) auntie Miss Anna has!

Here are some solo shots of our sweet Anna.  She is so cute, I could eat her up!  Oh, the cheeks!! IMG_3082  IMG_3109

Anna has a tiny spike of hair that insists on standing up straight!  So adorable! IMG_3115

Tiny toes!

And, a sneak peak at what’s to come from our favorite visitors! (please notice William is laying across my lap and trying to get to the baby! we may have to put her in a hammock hanging from the ceiling for safety!  ha ha!)

Meeting her big brothers for the first time!

IMG_6603

This is one of my VERY FAVORITE pictures of all time!IMG_6677

I’m pretty sure that this is the conversation that took place between these boys today:

Hudson:  Please do not touch me with that tiny baby.

William:  Please stop holding down my hands so I can go touch that tiny baby!  IMG_3196

And, our glow worm!  They have her on a lit up blanket to help with her little jaundice and blood issues.  Please pray for Jesus to fully heal her so we can go home together.  I CANNOT get over the cheeks in this picture!  IMG_6588

Thank you for your prayers and for loving our family!  We are just so excited about our new little lovebug!  Baby Anna is such a joy to us all!

Happy Daddy!

The boys and I had a great week together as we tied up loose ends and got ready for our baby Anna!

This was our last hoorah as a three-some on Friday at the Museum.  William was less than thrilled to be on the whale, but oh well!

IMG_6423

Mommy and Daddy had a special date night on Friday night before the baby . . . AND to celebrate Daddy turning 30!!  His bday is one day before Anna’s!

IMG_6428

On Saturday, Daddy and the boys decided they wanted to go and see more animals.  It was so beautiful out—we had a great day!  Here are a few pictures from our time at Maymont—I love these shots!

And, we had dinner with some great, great friends of ours on Saturday night.  I thought you’d be proud to know that my little amigos love their chips and salsa.  MMM!

And, here we are celebrating Daddy’s 30th birthday!  Happy Birthday, Daddy!  We love you dearly and are so very thankful for you!  Your biggest present will arrive sometime tomorrow morning . . .

This is it . . . Baby Anna and Mommy at almost 39 weeks!  We go into the hospital in the morning (EARLY) . . . please pray for us and our family during this exciting time and big change!

Here are some specific ways you can join us in prayer:

-for life and health for baby anna

-for a smooth transition into being big brothers for H & W (and for their time w/ grandparents and away from us while we are at the hospital)

-for a quick and easy recovery for me

-for all of us to be quick to repent, quick to forgive each other, and quick to trust Jesus . . . (this is especially difficult for me when I am tired) . . . we know we will need lots of REST!

Happenings!

We’re playing a bit of catch-up here . . . but, we wanted to show some of the latest and greatest around here!

The boys continue to enjoy their outdoor wonderland . . . the yard needs some work, but they don’t care!

The slide shoots these boys off, and they love it!IMG_2849IMG_2864

So proud to be going up the wrong way!  Rascal!IMG_2855IMG_2865

sometimes landing on the ground is not so fun . . . IMG_2870UP, Mommy!IMG_2871

William took it upon himself to try to “hep” Murphy get free . . . IMG_2877The boys didn’t have school this week due to the holiday on Monday, but they went in the rain last week!  Their Daddy takes them to school, and they love it!  I love this picture . . . it’s Hatch and his mini-me!  IMG_6368

Someone had a case of the Mondays . . . IMG_6371

The boys have been loving reading lately . .  . especially with their Daddy!  They will bring us books and say “More Read, Daddy!”  “More book, Mommy!”IMG_3038

They love their Bible, and their favorite story is about “noah’s boat” and the “am-als” (animals) . . . they ask to read the Bible all of the time.  It is so sweet.  Last week, at church, the nursery worker said that William took her hand and said “Jesus loves me.”  Precious!  We think he was probably asking her to play the song on the cd player, but who knows!  Cute, nevertheless!IMG_3055I was excited to buy a see saw for the boys at a yard sale because I thought they’d love to play together.  Hudson has really mastered making it a one-boy toy.  ha ha!IMG_3049IMG_3060Boo!

IMG_3046Excuse the drool . . . this one loves to push the mower!

IMG_3043

I love this face! IMG_6383This is his “big smile!”  hilarious! IMG_6385I rock and snuggle the boys at night before bed, and I just love it!  They are so sweet! IMG_6386 IMG_6387

Reading the Big Brother book with Daddy!  (William is literally leaning on his Daddy while listening to the story and snuggling Zebra Cris-fer.  So sweet!)IMG_6390 IMG_6392 IMG_6395Fun at dinner . . . these two are quite insistent upon feeding themselves.  Sometimes I wonder if they get anything in their mouths at all! IMG_6399Hudson enjoying some white chicken chili . . .  IMG_6401We also hit up music class this week (in the rain!  Thank you to my sweet friend Lacy who lets me drop  my boys off with her at the door so my pregnant self is not running in the rain with two toddlers!!) . . . and look who joined us!  Mr. Precious! IMG_6409Shakers with Sugie!  (Sugie has been so helpful because she chases the boys all around the room since I am not so agile these days.  They LOVE music!)IMG_6417

And, Mommy with her boys!

(We have started to patch William’s eye for a few hours each day to help strengthen his other eye.  Although the neon orange patches covered in black spider webs were pretty cool, we decided to go with the bandaid-like patches.  He is doing really well with them so far!  We are also continuing his new medication (drop) because we feel like it is helping to reduce the size of the hemangioma, which is great news.  Please keep praying for Jesus to fully heal his eye, the hemangioma, and his sight . . . and, pray for patience with us all as we do drops, patches, and glasses each day . . . that’s a lot to mess with for a little man who isn’t even 2 yet!)
