It feels a little wild to me that January has come and gone. After many, many days in our house due to sickness and to crazy winter weather, I realized that we still have lots of pictures to show! Here is a MUCH needed peek into our world this January . . . buckle up, folks, there are a lot of pictures to be seen!
After Hatch and I spent the weekend in Colorado, we took the boys to the Lewis Ginter GardenFest of Lights! It was very cold, but quite fun! {Thank you, Aunt Albie, for the tickets!}
Bumpa has taught these babes many a trick . . . including the ever common “head-butt!”

Despite the weather, we have still gone outside to swing. {We have to leave the house, after all!}
We have a lot of fun swinging, until the hornet gets cold. And, then we go inside, because we have learned that hornets {even cute little ones} do not like being cold.
Both boys have learned to bark like a dog, which is great fun. I heard Hudson barking back at Murphy from his crib the other day. Hilarious! William has discovered a fun new toy as well . . .
{yes, he is inside of the crate. I am telling you—we have been inside of this house a VERY long time.}

Our New York City Auntie Allison came for a visit and we threw her an early, surprise bday party! But, before the party, the boys helped her get some work done:

We were all very sad to say goodbye to the Nativity. It only took us until the end of January to put away our Christmas decorations!

And, last but not least, my babies are 14 months old TODAY. AH! Since I blew right on past their 12 month check up and stats, I thought I’d go ahead and report their 13 month stats. We went to the Developmental Clinic for a check up the week before last, and we had a great visit! We are grateful that both boys are right on target with their growth and development . . . they noticed that Hudson is “quite active” and that William is “very verbal.”
Here are their stats:
Hudson Hall: 26lbs, 32.5inches
William Jeffrey 23.6 lbs, 29inches
These boys are so cute and so fun! Hatch and I are tremendously grateful for them. We have such JOY being their parents! We love it! (Even in the sickness and snow!)
