Jet Setters!!

You heard me right! Hudson, William, Sugie, and Shannon traveled to San Fran for six days to "help" Aunt Katie and Uncle Brett get ready for baby Charlie! Our "getting ready" was supposed to include doing baby laundry, cleaning, organizing, shopping, etc. . . . and, it did . . . but, it also included a "trial by fire" with Hudson and Will waking up screaming at 4am the first night! Welcome to life with babies in the house! :) he he! We had a WONDERFUL time and LOVED being there! Here are some pictures from our travels!

Hudson and William did great on the flights! There were zero tears! It was incredible . . . and, our flight to SFO got there an hour early! (Thank you, Lord!) (it was loud by the plane, so they couldn't hear my hilarious attempt at monkey noises for this picture . . . so, no smiles!)

Arrival in SFO!

An EARLY morning wake-up with Aunt Katie (who was a huge help to me the whole week!)
Breakfast fun with bananas and Sugie, William's human high chair!

We took a trip to Santa Cruz to have lunch at Brett's cousin's house and visit with them and his mom, "ba ba." We had a great girls' (plus babies) lunch! Hudson and William wanted to get "ba ba" warmed up and ready for baby Charlie!

William and Hudson tested out Charlie's crib . . . and pack n play . . .

William was tired from playing on the bed with Sugie, so he took a little snooze
The boys took their first showers in CA! Clean baby Hudson!

We love you, Aunt Katie and Uncle Brett!! Thank you for having us! Can't wait to meet our Charlie!

Meeting John!

A few weekends ago, Hatch and I went on our first weekend getaway without the boys. On our way back, we were able to visit with our friend Mary Elizabeth Stone, and meet her precious little boy, John! I know that several of y'all have joined us in praying for John and his family since he was born in January--please keep praying!

We were THRILLED to be able to visit with them on their way through Richmond, and I just LOVED snuggling John!

Mary Elizabeth and sweet John

Mary Elizabeth with John, Shannon with William, and Hatch with Hudson (ME's husband, Meade, was in Georgia "with" Warren visiting Cumberland Island and the cemetary there)

We continue to ask y'all to pray for our friend John! You can check up on their blog for specific prayer requests. It was a joy to meet this sweet boy!

Catching Up!

September has been a fun and busy month for us! Below are a few highlights from the last few weeks . . .

My cousin, Jack, came for a visit to generously pass along some of his "oldie but goodie" toys to our boys. William and Hudson's two favorite toys came from Cousin Jack! (Jack used to think the babies were rude to him because they wouldn't speak back to him when he talked to them! Now that they make plenty of noise, I think they seem to have better manners! he he!) He is so sweet!

One of our good friends from UVA, Mary Andrews (aka: MA), came from Birmingham for a visit on Labor Day weekend. It was SO much fun having her, and such a treat! She helped with the boys, rearranged my pantry, traveled with us to Charlottesville on afternoon . . . what more can you ask for? :)

MA and Hudson on the Lawn

we four reppards . . .

MA's cute, cute, cute nephew, Paul, was in Charlottesville, too. So, we got a picture of all of the junior Wahoos on the lawn under a tree!

Our friend Meghan (former Tumbleweeds Designer) is expecting her second baby girl, and is WAY ahead of the power curve . . . so, on our visit, she and her daugther, Molly, presented Hudson (who rebelled against napping) his and William's first (waaaaay early) birthday gift! (Obedient William was napping!)

anticipation!
approval! (Meghan MADE these, by the way!)
We headed to Maymont Park for our actual Labor Day fun . . . but we got caught in the rain!

Both boys had been sick and were VERY fussy . . . but, Hudson LOVED being in the rain. It was hilarious!

Nueve Meses!

It amazes me that are babies have been here with us longer than they were growing in my tummy. It is WILD how quickly nine months flies by! Hudson and William are moving around, eating a lot, talking and babbling, and enjoying the adventure of life. I'm increasingly more tired as they become more active, but Hatch and I are both really enjoying this fun stage with our babies!

Here are some pictures from their 9 month photo shoot! (They were very sleepy and LESS than happy about this month's shoot . . .)

6 Months

9 Months! William weighs 20lbs 7oz and is 28 in long, right at the 50% for both! Hudson weighs 23lbs 5oz and is 30 in long, right around 90-95%! We are so grateful for the health of our boys! (They are two HEAVY babies for me to carry around! whoo!)

Blue Hat Babies!

This is a classic view of what I see everyday!! Two babies coming right at me!

50% of us are "so big!"
(this picture is really bright--I'm still figuring out my camera--I'm sorry! BUT, I thought it was cute!)

Carnivores!

Before you read this post, I have two disclaimers:

1. I started this post on LABOR DAY WEEKEND and have tried, more than once, to get it up and online. With teething, ear infections, colds, and travels, it has yet to happen. SO, my appologizes for not keeping the blog posted! I promise there are more fun updates to come!

2. Hatch has already corrected me that people who eat meat + veggies are not carnivores but omnivores. Thank you, Mr. Reppard. I stand corrected. ;)

Hudson and William have been quite the eaters lately. With their 9 month check up a few weeks ago, we got the green light to give them more "table food" and meat!! The boys had their first chicken that week, and they tasted their first turkey (from C-ville's very own Take-It-Away! You know what I am talking about, you Wahoos!) We've all had a lot of fun with their eating . . . it has been quite an experience for us all!! Enjoy!

Yes, I give my children cheese puffs. They are called Smart Puffs, so I feel like that makes it okay . . .

Hudson, dipping into his bib, has mastered our home-grown recycling program:

(can you see the spoon in his bib??)
We are not big on being clean eaters around here . . .

William's food face

Hudson sporting his black bean beard . . . My attempt at making dinner, talking to my sister on the phone, and feeding the boys:

Hudson and William's Nonna gave them these FUN teether bags! We fill them up with frozen fruit, and the boys LOVE it!

Just like their parents, these boys love to eat!
