So, I know that I have said this before, but I will say it again: my sweet babies are turning into little boys . . . and they are doing it right in front of my eyes!
Here are a few examples of the boy-ness:
1. Today: When walking to the car, (I was strapping William in his seat), Hudson picked up a stick and began to chew on it. . . . And, later today, the boys crashed into each other and bonked heads. No one cried. (I was astonished! I would have cried, for sure.)
2. Tuesday: William fell at the playground (it was my fault, and I felt horrible) and has a sizeable, purple goose-egg on his sweet little forehead! . . . Later that day, William bit his tongue so badly that it bled and bled and is now bruised, but he cried for approximately 9 seconds. (I would have cried. And cried. And cried!) . . . AND, Hudson tried to eat a rock. YUM.
Also on Tuesday, we went to the park this week with our friends Lacy (the mama) and her babes, Max and Neveah. We had a blast! While we were chasing and playing with babies, we turned around to find that Hudson had eaten mud . . . it was caked in his chubby cheeks, smashed into his teeth, and covering his tongue {GROSS!!!}

We love playing with Neveah because she is so sweet and so girly. She did a great job of showing my boys the ropes in the tunnel:

The boys had LOTS of fun:

Check out more of our park pics on Lacy’s blog!
We also had a birthday party this week for some friends who turned 2 (3 of them!!). It was QUITE fun. The boys loved being there, and it was great to see them playing and running around with the “big kids!”
William was in awe of all of the fun

Hudson LOVED the bubble machine!

Hudson and Eve living it up!

These last pictures are from today (post stick-eating). It was FRIGID and super-windy outside, but they were having a blast. When I made them come inside, Hudson cried hysterically. We Reppards have a lot of passion . . . I may be in trouble as these boys grow and don’t get what they want! Oh MY!
Walking outside, and SO very proud!
