Glorious!

Our recent skills are GLORIOUS! While I still love snuggling the boys when I feed them, their ability to feed themselves makes all of us very happy (ie: no more babies screaming at us to hurry, hurry up and feed them!)

Auntie Katie and Uncle Brett are HERE!! And, that means, the beach is near!! We cannot wait to go to the beach in just a few days! (We are all very excited to meet their sweet Baby Charlie in the fall!) :)

Hatch and I took the boys to the Lawn and the Rotunda at UVA this past weekend. It was glorious! ;) It had rained, so we weren't able to get all of the pictures we'd hoped for, but we did get a few fun ones!

Weekend Fun!

We had another fun and busy weekend! I'm realizing that I'm feeling really tired these days . . . perhaps it's the combination of two babies, lots of noise, and a lot of fun things going on this summer! Auntie Allison came for a visit from NYC and Uncle Judah spent the night on Friday, so we had a full house! After realizing William's hair was standing up on its own (due to sunscreen, etc.) we decided that it was time for a bath!

Just in case you thought our house was quiet and that things are nice and calm around here . . .

ohhhhhh, how we LOVE summer! Here are some pictures from this past week . . .

Fun at the park with our (twin) friends Catherine and Jane Martin (and Will and Hudson) . . . and, yes, we have matching strollers. It's cool, I promise . . .


We also had a visit from our sweet new friend, Emily Long! (7 weeks!) Emily makes us smile!


Both babies have really started noticing Murphy the Dog (yes, we still have and still love our dog) . . . Hudson giggles whenever he sees Murphy, so Hudson and I go together each morning to let Murphy out of his crate and put him outside to play in his jungle (aka: our backyard). While I get Murphy's bowl to put it outside, I set Hudson in the laundry bucket so he can giggle away as he watches the dog run in the yard . . .

Hi, I'm a Cow!

One may think that a cow says "Moo," but in my childhood family talent show (which was hosted by A Monny at the beach each year) our cousin Timmy (the cow) entered the scene and said "Hi! I'm a cow!" This posting is in honor of Timmy, who is now serving our nation in the Army from South Korea!

On Friday, we dressed the babies in spotted onesies and took them to ChickFilA for Cow Appreciation Day . . . and, of course, so that Hatch and I could dine on free kids' meals for dinner! (We have no shame!)
